Winding of 760-meter TF Conductor started in Protvino
Manufacturing of Toroidal Field Conductors for the ITER Magnet System is a sophisticated multistage process. Early this year OJSC “VNIIKP” specialists in Podolsk twisted and prepared for the following technological phases the 760-meter niobium-tin cable – the second product of this kind manufactured in Russia.

OJSC “VNIIKP” located in Podolsk, Moscow region, started cabling of the 760-meter niobium-three-tin cable for the ITER magnet system toroidal coils, January 17, 2012.
