Representatives of DA ITER RRC “Kurchatov Institute” and Department of Foreign Affairs of the Center attended the meeting on the Russian side. At the beginning of the meeting Head of DA ITER Dr. Anatoly Krasilnikov shared information about the progress in ITER Project realization and DA activities. Mr. Flory informed the meeting participants about functions and achievements of Nuclear Affairs Office of Embassy of France, led by him, and its role in ITER Project joint implementation.
The questions of collaboration development within the framework of the international ITER Project were discussed by delegates of two organizations during the meeting. The central position of the meeting was held by the question of simplifying the French visas application procedure for Russian Project participants delegated to France.
Upon completion of the meeting official part Mr. Flory with his colleagues visited famous F-1 reactor, RRC “Kurchatov Institute” Nuclear Fusion Institute (namely t-10 and T-15 installations) and NTK “Kurchatov Center of Synchrotron Irradiation and Nanotechnologies”.
